Historical Context–
Younger Pasigueños might not remember the Pasig shabu tiangge raid of 2006. The tiangge was only a few hundred meters from City Hall. The raid was conducted by the PNP Anti-Illegal Drugs Specual Operations Task Force. Notably, a few days after the raid, the LGU destroyed the crime scene without any coordination with the said Task Force.
