Weekly Execom from my temporary workspace. #QuarantineLife Some highlights for health cluster: 1) CESU – Cases still projected to go up. – Additional contact tracers now working; now at 690; more expected to arrive. – Death rate with Omicron proving to be much lower than with Delta. 2) Vaccination – 2 more sites re-opened to decongest. Plus 1 more private-run site to open. – Registration ongoing via PasigPass even for minors but we need to wait for DOH guidelines for 5-11 y.o. 3) Hospitals – Personnel concerns (quarantine) still a challenge – Yesterday i signed the contracts (COS/emergency hiring) of 28 GPs, 61 nurses, and 138 others (medical specialists, nursing attendants, PTs, etc) God bless us and keep us healthy!
