Since 2019, it has been our policy not to name new government buildings after incumbent officials. Last July 2, 5 new buildings were officially named to commemorate the lives of Pasigueños whose lives significantly contributed to the communities where these buildings stand: 1. Gregorio Coching, novelist/artist (Buting ES); 2. Luciano Santiago, world-renowned historian/psychiatrist (Sixto Antonio ES); 3. Jovito Salonga, former Senate President (RHS); 4.
