Pasig City, Most Business-Friendly

Pasig City, Most Business-Friendly LGU Awardee!

🏆 Pasig City receives the MOST BUSINESS-FRIENDLY LGU AWARD from the Philippine Chamber ot Commerce and Industry (PCCI) (Category 1A- cities in Metro Manila) Pictured here is President Bongbong Marcos handing me the plaque. In 2019, PCCI invited me to a forum, where I shared our new administration's commitment towards good governance reforms, narrowing in on the Ease of Doing Business. Many of them shared their thoughts, suggestions, and even grievances. We listened and got to work. 3 years later, they invited me again, but this time to recognize the city government for its efforts. In 3 years, we have reduced the number of steps to get permits, established a business one stop shop for the central business district, entrapped corrupt officials… and so much more. Systems and physical improvelents in the Office of the Building Official, a new business one stop shop for our city's northern quadrant, continuous capacity building for our personnel, atbp.

Good news! We have signed the Deeds of Sale for the LGU to acquire 2 PIECES OF LAND. (1) NAGPAYONG 25,825 sq.m. x ₱5,500/sq.m. ≈ 142M ➡️ for the expansion of social services (Kanlungan sa Pasig), public park, evacuation site, school annex buildings, and possibly a new school. (2) PINAGBUHATAN PROPER 3,352 sq.m. x ₱17,900/sq.m. ≈ 60M ➡️ for school expansion. (Before I am allowed to make an offer, it goes through our Land Appraisal Committee. We negotiate for the lowest fair price, and then the City Council can authorize the payment. Prices are inclusive of taxes.) #UmaagosAngPagasa
